The Tudor age represents the Rennaisance in England, with many new discoveries in science, medicine and the exploration of the world. At home, the break with Rome, and the intrigue of Elizabeth's court make this an exciting time.
Our Tudor Experience is based on Key Stage 3 requirements covering many aspects of Tudor life, however, we have also present modified versions of it to primary schools to cover Key Stage 2 requirements.
The agenda is individually tailored to the requirements of the school, so we can either have several sessions with different classes for a day or do all-day sessions with a class or group of classes.
As well as us visiting your school, we can offer days out with visits to Frylands Wood, Anne of Cleeves House, Bradwell Abbey or Stevenage Museum.
During the visit we typically cover:

The details can be adjusted to match any coursework that has been set. The sessions are interactive with a great deal of student participation. We use replica items and clothes and a selection of original artefacts to give an impression of what life was like in the past.
Our aim is for the students to have a memorable and informative day.
