About the Arriere-bans | ![]() |
| We are a team of professional living history interpreters
who specialize in visiting schools to enhance understanding of history. We cover a large portion of the South-East of England, with Schools visited from Dover and Broadstairs to Norwich, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Telford, Woking and Portsmouth, as well as many parts in between. We are looking at expanding the region we cover, so if you have a large school, we are willing to travel outside this area. In addition to visiting schools, we have made arrangements with a number of historic sites including: Lewes Castle, Anne of Cleeves House, Bradwell Abbey as well as Stevenage Museum and the re-created fort at Frylands Wood, so that students can have a extended history lesson at a historic location We visit primary schools, secondary schools and special needs schools, although at present, the majority of our customer base is secondary schools. Sessions can last from an hour to the whole day, we are flexible and will work around the requirements of your school day. With over 120 schools visited, and some where we are returning for the 6th year, we must be doing something right! |
